Honey Brook Borough Park and Recreation Committee has planned another season of fun-filled family activities in the Borough Park.
Bocce Tournaments will be held on Saturday, May 11, Saturday, September 14, and Saturday, November 9. Rain dates will be the following day (Sunday). All tournaments will begin at 9:00 am. Interested participants may call the Borough office at 610-273-2020 to register a team of 4 persons. The registration fee is $20 per team. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams. Refreshments are provided.
The Honey Brook Police Department is sponsoring a Corn-Hole (bean bag toss) Tournament on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 12:00 noon in the Borough Park. All levels of experience are welcome. Registration for teams of 2 will be at 11:00 am prior to the tournament. Registration fee is $10 per team. Prizes will be awarded for the three top winners. A second Corn-Hole tournament will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 3:00 pm in the Borough Park. Registration will be at 2:00 pm with a registration fee of $10 per team of two.
The FREE 2013 Concerts in the Park series continues with three fabulous bands. The first performance of the season, “Drew Nielands & John Grecia” will take the stage on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 5:30-8:00. The second concert of the season will be held on Sunday, August 11, from 5:30-8:00 pm when “The Well Band” takes the stage.
The final concert of the series will be on Sunday, September 8, from 5:00-7:30 pm featuring “Raven Hill Band”. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics to the performances. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The Honey Brook Borough Police Department Community Day will be held in the Borough Park on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Community Day will include a model airplane demonstration, a Live raptor program presented by Red Creek Wildlife Center, a karate demonstration, fire department activities, moon bounce, refreshments and more. The Borough Park may be reserved for private functions by calling the Borough Hall at 610-273-2020. Reservation forms are available at Borough Hall or can be downloaded from the borough website.
